"LEARN TO APPRECIATE THE THORN!"

 Roses have thorns to ward off animals that are attracted to their smell. Without them, the rose would STILL have is beauty but it would be devoured. Their STRENGTH is NOT their beauty, but their THORN! We are God's roses and he placed thorns in our sides to PROTECT us from others and OURSELVES. He allows us to blossom with the constant reminder of WHY we still exist! 

"FOR IT IS GOD'S STRENGTH THAT PERFECTS OUR WEAKNESSES!"

2 Corinthians 12:7, 9 KJV

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. [9] And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
