Tomorrow, if the Lord's willing, will be 2015, and for most, we've already made New Year's resolutions. BUT have we've thanked God for what He's ALREADY DONE, DOING & AND GOING TO DO?! God blesses us OFTEN without us even recognizing it. Be it an accident we've avoided or a sickness or death He prevented from occurring, it ALL warrants praise! He gives us 86,400 seconds a day and STILL can't thank Him with one! But yet we feel that's what God is SUPPOSE to do. NEVER thinking where we would be If He hadn't! We MUST give thanks IN and FOR EVERYTHING! Even if it's hard to do so at the very moment.

 When we PRAY, we're asking God to TAKE OVER, allowing HIS WILL to be done and REFUSING to worry! HOWEVER, when we WORRY, we're telling God that we DON'T trust that He CAN & WILL see us through and that our CONFIDENCE lies solely in our LIMITED capabilities! Therefore, we tie God hands with DOUBT, which in turn, IMPEDES our blessings. Because James 1:6-8 tells us that doubt means we LACK faith and that we SHOULDN'T expect anything from the Lord due to double-mindedness and instability!

Nor should we prematurely move out of place due eagerness of a revelation!

Who wouldn't serve and BELIEVE in a God like that?! We tie God's hands when we doubt. Hence WE hinder our own blessings! We must simply CALL on HIM and LET Him do the rest!

However, this CAN be countered by STAYING prayed up, STAYING in the Word and KEEPING on the FULL armor of God!

 Sincere prayer IS NOT vain repetition of words or boastful shouts on rooftops! It's an intimate conversation with God..... PERIOD! He wants to hear from us. And if we allow His Holy Spirit to intervene & interpret what we NEED to say, our prayers become more powerful & effective!  Often we go through storms God NEVER intended for us to experience. BUT He allowed it to show US the INSTABILITY of our faith! We must remember that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we ALREADY have the power to move mountains! HOWEVER, mountains aren't moved because our faith doesn't extend past our vision!  In storms, our vision gradually declines with each step we take until it's understood that we can't take another step without GOD'S direction!

Our good(God) deeds aren't to be rationed out to those WE deem fit! Nor are we meant to selfishly profit from them either! EVERYTHING we do is unto the Lord! Whether good or bad, we're doing it to God. And WE'RE the ones reaping what WE sow! I know it seems that some people don't DESERVE our mercy.....but neither do we DESERVE God's! DAILY we're saved by HIS grace and mercy. However, you can find comfort in knowing that everyone DON'T deserve your mercy......JUST THE ONES THAT OWEYOU!

 BEFORE we put on the whole armor of God, we must understand...WHO empowers us to fight, WHY and WHAT we're fighting, and WHEN and HOW to fight! It's GOD that empowers us and we must NEVER fight any battle WITHOUT Him! ALWAYS wait on instruction. We're CONSTANTLY in a spiritual warfare and it'll take MORE than our might to fight & conquer the devil! But BEFORE we fight, we MUST ensure that our mind, body & soul align with Christ! We can't entangle ourselves with the cares of this world & hide behind the armor of God! Free your mind & keep God as your focal point! If you're distracted, how can you fight?

No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

"DON'T BE SPIRITUALLY DEFENSELESS!"

 Salvation ISN'T enough to fight the devil! We MUST also have FAITH, RIGHTEOUSNESS, TRUTH, THE WORD OF GOD & PEACE! The attacks of the devil come NOT to test our knowledge, but our APPLICATION of our knowledge! He preys on the defenseless, and our FAITH is the FIRST line of defense and it's backed by the Word of God! If these falter, we lose the will to MAINTAIN righteousness, to uphold the truth, to spread peace and ultimately, lose our salvation and ability to STAND! Therefore, we must DAILY renew our strength because this process isn't always instantaneous! The devil WILL patiently wait for a gradual decline!

 We must STOP standing idly by and blindly celebrating Halloween and learn the history behind it! It was, and for some, STILL is the celebrating and portrayal of the dead. People will pray (worship) to them. This is something WE KNOW is scripturally wrong! The Bible instructs us abstain from ALL appearances of evil! So why do we continue to partake is these events because MAN gives us candy and says it's ok?! As SAINTS, we MUST spread the light of God, even more so TODAY and remove Satan's footing! The devil is ALWAYS seeking whom he may devour!

EVERY trial ISN'T punishment! Trials come to mold, correct, DEFLATE and enlighten! Sometimes He just wants us to GO THRU a trial to appreciate the blessing even the more. Or, you and everything around could be going RIGHT,  but God would ALLOW a trial to come to DETER self righteousness. Remember, NO ONE is perfect and ABOVE correction! He wants us to REMAIN humble and to NOT think more highly of ourselves than we ought to. Trials ensure that we STAY on the right track! We must learn to appreciate and rejoice IN THEM!

 During sleep, you have a decreased ability to react to stimuli (a detectable change in the internal or external environment). This means you're NOT likely to RESPOND to what goes on around you, let alone CARE! In the Bible Daniel slept in the lion's den, Peter slept in jail while awaiting death, and Jesus slept thru a storm! All because of their UNDYING FAITH! They KNEW who had COMPLETE control and found rest in His shelter. It's easy to have faith in things WE can control. The TRUE test of our FAITH comes in the midst of the IMPOSSIBLE! Trials come to prove something to US, not God! He ALREADY knows what we will do! 

"FOR ONLY IN TRIALS WILL WE KNOW THE DEPTH OF OUR FAITH!"

"TURN DOWN THE VOLUME OF THE WORLD IN ORDER TO HEAR GOD'S VOICE!"

 Often we expect God to YELL over the chaotic confusion WE CREATE! We look for God to make earth shaking moves and never realize that often His MOST powerful moves occur in silence! However, WE CAN'T HEAR because we busy ourselves with the cares of THIS world while God's voice slowly becomes unrecognizable. We must REMAIN still and LISTEN & OBEY instructions! STOP trying to FIGURE OUT God's future plans, and take heed to His PRESENT plans! Stay on the right path and avoid short cuts or detours!

 It's nice if you have a closet big enough to pray in, but it DOESN'T have to be a closet, NOR a room! You can pray to God ANYWHERE and ANYTIME. YES, it's nice to set aside a specific time to pray, but God IS NOT satisfied with JUST that. You don't have to pray a certain way or know the right words to say....JUST PRAY! We must seek Him often...NEVER CEASING! Talk to Him throughout the day and ALLOW Him to REMOVE what's wrong in you, and empower you to speak life into ANY situation!

 There are too many TOP HEAVY Christians and not enough GROUNDED Christians! Because the fundamentals of salvation were LEARNED and NOT APPLIED! We tend to get lost in the blessings of God, striving to enlarge our territory, while our foundation is crumbling. The devil is tricky and loves to cut us off at the knees....our FAITH! Our faith seems simple BUT it's the most POWERFUL and it's backed by the WORD of God! Without BOTH, we will ALWAYS fail and joy will be temporary! We must DAILY read and APPLY the Word of God! 

"BECAUSE FOR BEST RESULTS, WE MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!"

2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

"WHAT DOES YOUR ORCHARD GROW?"

 As a CHRISTIAN, our fruits of our spirits SHOULD BE: Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, FAITH, Meekness and Temperance. HOWEVER, this ISN'T always evident! Our spiritual fruits LOOK ripe, but inside they're inedible and not fit for use! NEWS FLASH: our fruits AREN'T just beneficial to others! We must FIRST eat of our fruit and ALLOW it to nourish OUR SOULS! ONLY THEN will we reap AND distribute blessings! 

"FOR WHY DO WE LOOK FOR A HARVEST FROM SEEDS NEVER PLANTED?!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

We must control access to our spirit, alternate our focus and delete ANYTHING that's NOT of God! Too often we allow any and everything to penetrate our spirit, leaving room for the devil to wreak havoc. All because we shifted our focus from God. However, once we realize what's happened, we must REMOVE ALL appearances of ungodliness! If not, our joy will be vastly depleted, seemingly to the point of no return. It's time to TAKE BACK what the devil stole from us and ALLOW God to RENEW and RESTORE joy in our salvation! And vow to NEVER again relinquish control to the enemy! 

"FOR THE DEVIL CAN ONLY TAKE WHAT WE ALLOW HIM TAKE!"

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. [12] Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

"DON'T BE SPIRITUALLY DEFENSELESS!"

 Salvation ISN'T enough to fight the devil! We MUST also have FAITH, RIGHTEOUSNESS, TRUTH, THE WORD OF GOD & PEACE! The attacks of the devil come NOT to test our knowledge, but our APPLICATION of our knowledge! He preys on the defenseless, and our FAITH is the FIRST line of defense and it's backed by the Word of God! If these falter, we lose the will to MAINTAIN righteousness, to uphold the truth, to spread peace and ultimately, lose our salvation and ability to STAND! Therefore, we must DAILY renew our strength because this process isn't always instantaneous! The devil WILL patiently wait for a gradual decline! 

"FOR POISON TAKEN ALL AT ONCE OR SPORADICALLY OVER TIME, STILL HAS THE SAME EFFECT!"

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

"THE BEST DEFENSE, IS A GOD OFFENSE!"

 Often when faced with trials, were become complacent, succumb defeat or lose interest in fighting. Not realizing that we've fallen into the hands of the devil. All because we FOOLISHLY thought we were the source of our strength! DON'T GIVE UP, KEEP THE FAITH! SINGLE-HANDEDLY we CAN'T defeat the devil! So why not turn it over to who can?! God just wants us to STAY FOCUSED on HIM in PRAYER, hold onto the Rock, and NEVER relinquish control to the enemy! 

"FOR ENCOURAGEMENT COMES WHEN WE TAKE OUR FOCUS OFF THE GIANTS IN FRONT OF US AND SEE ALL THE FALLEN ONES GOD BLOCKED BEHIND US!"

 Millions go through life NEVER knowing they're a slave! Whatever and whoever has control over us, our desires, our focus...we become a slave to! But we foolishly think we're superior and can walk through life unscathed while remaining UNSAVED! The devil has people following him in drones through EFFORTLESS manipulation of their minds. HOWEVER, there's refuge! God sent His son to FREE us, but we MUST realize that we are bound!

 This is EXACTLY what we offer God when we RELIGIOUSLY give the APPEARANCE of salvation but NEVER religiously follow His commandments! We care more about what people THINK about us then what God KNOWS about us! God doesn't just want a pretty package....He wants the COMPLETE package! He's tired of our polluted praises, prayers and evangelists! He desires to change us from within FIRST, so that what He pours in us, will PERMANENTLY change our appearance!

Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

"A HOUSE DIVIDED AGAINST ITSELF, CANNOT STAND!"

 Many of us PLAY CHURCH on Sunday, BUT are sinful Monday thru Saturday! To the point that NO ONE takes our salvation seriously....not even us! HOWEVER, when temptations of impure thoughts and sinful acts are confronted, we're SHOCKED that we can't COMMAND obedience. There's a war on the INSIDE and the enemy is YOU! No one can serve TWO masters! We MUST choose to FULLY stand for God, or risk falling for the tricks of the devil!

 Often we REFUSE to help others while we're SELFISHLY seeking God's help! We let the cares of this world blind us to the will of God. The Bible says that NO soldier entangles himself with affairs of THIS life if they want to please the one who chose him to be a soldier. YES, we must CONSTANTLY seek God for strength, BUT He doesn't always wait until we're FULLY powered to use us! He wants us to REMAIN plugged into HIS power source in order to energize others so we can JOINTLY be propelled in Christ! 

"FOR WHAT'S GOOD ABOUT A FULLY POWERED BATTERY THAT NEVER GETS USED?!"

 GOSSIP is NEVER one sided! It's a viscous cycle of destruction! And contrary to popular belief, IT IS A SIN! The Bible says that DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE. Murder IS NOT just an action applied by hands! We are ALL guilty of VERBAL murder AND accessories after the fact! We must ALWAYS be mindful of what we say AND what we hear! We are instructed to RESIST the devil....so why do we keep allowing him to come in?! We must stay near the cross and abstain from ALL appearances of evil!
