"IT'S TIME TO REMOVE THE RESIDUE!"

 When we sacrifice ourselves to God, we allow Him to BURN away our sins! HOWEVER, it's up to US to REMOVE the residue/ashes from the altar BEFORE it becomes attached & threatens to remove part of the sacrifice! If we don't, the next offering will be contaminated with the residue of the previous offering and won't be fit for consumption! God is a CONSUMING FIRE and wants us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, HOLY & ACCEPTABLE! But how can God CONSUME something that is beriddled with residue that WILL eventually smother your fire and cause it to go out? We must clean the altar to maintain God's presence in us!
